​The Puppy Preschool Program at NaJu Pets is a specialized daycare and training program for puppies. Puppies must have their first series of puppy vaccines and a bordetella for K9 cough. Once they receive rabies, they graduate to an older puppy/adult daycare. Puppy preschool focuses on nurturing healthy development, building social skills, and introducing basic training techniques. This program sets the foundation for your puppy to grow into a well-behaved, confident, and happy companion.

Program Requirements

The safety and health of every dog in the program are top priorities. To maintain a secure and welcoming environment for all participants, the Puppy Preschool Program has a few requirements:

• Puppies must have their first series of puppy vaccines and a bordetella for K9 cough. Once they receive rabies, they graduate to an older puppy/adult daycare.
• Proof of up-to-date vaccinations is required, including distemper, parvovirus, and bordetella, to ensure the health of all pets in our care.
• Puppies should not display aggressive behavior, helping create a positive and stress-free experience for everyone.

These standards ensure a nurturing environment where puppies can safely learn, play, and grow.

• Intro to grooming: nails, brushing, clippers, sounds, etc.
• Acclimation to wheelchairs, canes, wigs, glasses/sunglasses, hats, face masks.
• Learning stairs (up and down).
• Exposure to sounds like thunder, rain, fireworks, and sirens.
• Crate training.
• Socialization with an older, mature dog.
